Space Walk of Fame Course Map

Course starts on Indian River Ave as shown. Runners run south approximately 1 mile and turn left and then left again onto Riverside Dr, which merges back onto Indian River Ave after a few blocks. The runners continue north to just before the finish and turn around, making another loop, but this time continuing south on Riverside Dr until just before it hits US-1. About 1.5 miles back north, turn right at the bank and there is the finish line!

2 Miles

Same as the first loop of the 8K, but turn right at the bank and finish instead of turning around for the second loop.

About the Course

This course is run through the old riverside neighborhood on Indian River Ave among beautiful homes and graceful oaks and then onto Riverside Dr with homes on one side and the majestic Indian River on the other. You can see the VAB and launch pads in the distance at the Kennedy Space Center. The course is almost entirely shaded and run early enough to avoid the heat.

Registration / Packet Pick-Up and Awards

Both registration / packet pick-up and the awards ceremony are held in the beautiful Space Walk of Fame Park on the Indian River. Come watch the sun rise over the Indian River as you warm up for the race.
